Fylde Conclave donate to George Williams House |
George Williams House is a supported housing complex based in Fleetwood that is operated by the Salvation Army charity. It supports both single young persons aged between 16 and 25 and also families of any age who have experienced a period of homelessness. It's primary aim is to offer accommodation and specialist support which will assist those in their care make the step forward in their lives to move into more permanent housing, whether that is their own private tenancy; a housing association property; or re-uniting with family and moving back in with them. The skilled staff work with individuals to give them the support they need to achieve their own personal goals, whatever they may be. The centre provides a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where everyone is valued, no-one is judged and all and treated with kindness and respect. |
Fylde Conclave No 125 are delighted that Match Funding has allowed for a total of £200.00 to be pledged via their Conclave to ensure that this valuable work continues amongst some of the most vulnerable and marginalised of local society. |
